OMG

I’ve been wanting to add photos to this blog for ages, but being technologically challenged is a burden I struggle with. But I think I’ve figured it out! (There’s a little button that says “Upload photo.” Heh. Who knew?)

So now I can inundate this site with pictures of:

This tree in my front yard. It's a Bradford pear. It does not make actual pears. The pink box on the right is the bird feeder where deer come and tip it and suck all the seed out of it.

and this:

This is me, last month. I think this is in my bathroom, but I have no idea why I have it or what was going on or anything.

and this:

This might be too much information. A snapshot of a life that maybe you really don't want to know about. But basically, this is my bed. The dog is Zsazsa, who belongs to my husband's best friend. They were visiting from Florida. The muddy pawprints you see all over the down comforter are muddy pawprints, because we apparently set no limits as to where guest dogs can go. The dresser in the back is covered with crap because that's how we roll. I'm sorry if I just destroyed whatever image you had of me. I'm just walkin' in the truth here.

I bet you’re so, so excited, huh?

Cate.

  4. Are you ever going to write more on Hunter and Morgan like the lost years before Morgan moved to Ireland or after they rescued Hunter and the handfasting.

OMG I always wanted one of those trees! There are like 3 or 4 of them in front of the grocery store down the road from my house and I ignore the urge every time to dig them up and tie them to my truck and take them home lol. Oh and congrats on figuring out how to get pictures up btw lol very impressive!

I know exactly how you feel! My mom is an author and we have the exact same kind of stuff. I’m happy we aren’t the only ones! All the other Authors I have met seem to be so high class. :D It’s hilarious. I LOVE YOUR BOOKS! They are the best.

Wow! It is so amazing to see into the life of one of my favorite authors! Don’t mind the stuff on the dresser, we all have clutter here and there. I read Immortal last fall when it came out and first of all, I didn’t even know that you had published a new book. I was so excited! I loved the story line and I fell in love with the characters. Ok, I love all the characters in your books. I’m looking forward to reading more of your novels! Keep up the amazing work!!!

p.s. I love the tree photo. It is beautiful!

I like how you do this(:
It makes it seem like you really are a human being like the rest of us and not some rich author who only writes for the fame and fortune. It’s nice to know you’re normal:)
Btw, I live in North Carolina as well, and I just finished Immortal Beloved. I loved it!

And despite the fact that I know I shouldn’t, I really, really like Incy… *sigh*
