I kept thinking to myself as I was coming to the end of the series, “I wish this would be made into movies.” With all the hype of other “supernatural” books made into movies, I felt this series was very well thought out and would be a strong plot for multiple movies. Plus, I would love to see these characters really come alive straight from the books.

I am also English, so the fact that Hunter is too is definately apealing, but I also managed to make the terrible mistake of picking up book 12, Eclipse from the school library. I thought it was a bit strange when I read it, so I looked to see if it was a part of a series, which it was. I got them for christmas and was completely hooked straight away, but when Hunter wasn’t in the first few, I got confused, and when he came in as the bad guy I was shocked, so I knew they would end up together before I even started. It kinda ruined it. But I love them all the same and can’t wait to read the rest!(does anyone know where I can get the Wicca series book 9, Strife for less then £5 preferably?)

Look on Amazon, it took me a while to get every book but in the end I decided the ‘wicca’ series, some were just too expensive so now I have mostly the wicca ones and some ‘sweep’ ones too. There all the same just different covers, but I found the sweep ones cheaper. Im nearly on the last book and I can’t stop reading them, I’ve read them before but they are just the best books out there. I know I will cry on the last book because it is so sad until the ending when everything turns out happy :D. I hope they get made into a film!

Ok, sounds good, I’ll go for a mixed collection, lol. The only annoying thing about having these sites is that you pick up on little bits of whats going to happen next!!! But I sould be grateful really, lol. Thanks

I’ve got Strife and Seeker is still on it’s way. They didn’t have it in stock and had to order it in from America! I hope it’s not going to take much longer, I’m getting desperate. I can’t even go back over the books I’ve already got because I’ve lent them all out to my friends, lol.

currently re-reading the series after having first read it back in 2005 and im so glad i decided to!
i’m up to Spellbound on my re-read at the moment and i remember thinking that Awakening was one of my favourite in the series because it’s when Morgan begins to realise her attraction to Hunter.

I’m absolutely in love with the ending of Awakening which brings me onto one of my main reasons for Hunter being my favourite character (though keep in mind that i’m only up to Spellbound on my re-read of the series ..so for the rest of the books its been 5 years since i’v read them!)

Hunters terrible past and his job as a Seeker create an almost dark Hunter ..a business-like Hunter that Morgan has problems with. But it’s the contrast in his personality ..the way that his love for Morgan brings out another side to him.
An example from Awakening would be when in an entry in his BOS he writes how as Morgan saw Das Boot with its blue hood, all he wanted was to so badly kiss her tears away.
And like i said ..the ending of Awakening is one of my favourite moments in the series (that i can remember so far) and i love Hunters’ character for being so bold yet vulnerable to show Morgan the ‘Morganite’ and the image within.

Anyway, there’s so many reasons why i adore Hunter but i think the top reason would have to be the contrasting sides of him and how lovely his ..light (with want for a better word) side is.

What I like about Hunter… well it’s hard to describe but it has something to do with his way of acting. He is rational and calm but also full of love and witchcraft. I love the way he is serious, it’s almost imposing, even though Morgan is way more powerful. Let’s just say that you can describe him in a way that makes him intriguing and makes me want to know more about him. And next to this there is of course the fact that he is utterly beautiful and the perfect boyfriend.
But I have to say that I can’t choose between Morgan and Hunter. When you read the book your in Morgans mind, you follow her story and you are almost part of her. So it’s something way different from Hunter, who I see most of the time through Morgans eyes (except for ‘Seeker’). I quess that makes Hunter appealing and interesting too, because Morgan thinks about him a lot (in a good way).
Lots of Love
Luke
